Eaton model 90 simplex strainers are custom fabricated per your specifications where as our other simplex strainers are based upon either a cast or molded body, the model 90 is fabricated from pipe and plate materials to satisfy specific design criteria such as corrosion allownce, ASME code stamp, number of nozzles, their location and type and specific straining ratios.

Our website illustrates 150# and 300# designs made of carbon steel and 316L stainless steel, however we offer higher pressure class versions and exotic alloys for material of construction when required.

The Eaton model 90 basket strainer is provided with either a bolted cover or a hinged “quick opening cover” (using eyebolts to hold the cover down). The hinged quick-opening cover design eliminates the need for a cover lift davit assembly and reduces the lifting force enough to enable a single operator to open the cover to access the basket.
