SENTINEL® Filter Bags

SENTINEL filter bags are a needle felt filter bag design suitable for most applications requiring nominal filtration from 1 to 200 microns. The fully welded seam and sealing ring design improve both the efficiency and strength of the filter bag. The polypropylene and polyester materials used in the construction of SENTINEL filter bags consist of silicon-free fibers and are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality control standards to assure consistency.

SENTINEL filter bags have a crush seal style sealing ring to create a bypass free seal. The filter housing (TOPLINE) or hold-down ring pushes against the topside of the sealing ring, causing the angled lower section of the sealing ring to seal against the filter housing and restraienr (support) basket. The sealing ring is available in polypropylene, polyester and santoprene materials of construction to provide a flexible, chemically resistant seal which is compatible with all #1 – #4 size bag filter housings. The seal of the patented SENTINEL filter bag improves as the differential pressure increases. A pair of handles are molded into the sealing ring to simplify removal of the filter bag from its support basket.

 

Welding the filter bag seams and ring strengthen the filter bag, thus they are less likely to fail in these areas as compared to sewn filter bags. SENTINEL filter bags are offered in polypropylene and polyester needle felt as well as nylon monofilament materials.

SENTINEL filter bags are configured using a description code as illustrated below. SENTINEL filter bags are sold in carton quantities and shipped directly from the factory’s warehouse. We will provide SENTINEL filter bags for free for evaluation purposes.

  • #2 size SENTINEL bags, 176 GPM

  • #3 size SENTINEL bags, 26 GPM
