PTFE and PVDF Simplex Strainers Basket strainers for pure and aggressive fluids

Our fabricated PTFE and PVDF simplex strainers are designed to continuously remove particulates from aggressive or ultra-pure fluids. PTFE and PVDF simplex strainers can be provided with flanged, tri-clamp and FNPT (threaded) connections.

All of the componets are made of PTFE or PVDF respectfully, with the exception of the straining element (ETFE or PEEK), the flange (PVDF) and the o-ring seal (FEP encapsulated silicon).

Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) is very similar to PTFE with regards to chemical comptibility. Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) is a corrosion resistant fluoropolymer wheras Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a thermoplastic material which maintains a superior chemical and mechnical resistance at elevated temperatures.

A ¼” PTFE blow-down plug enables flushing of acumulted particles without removing the element from the strainer. Eight standard retentions are listed below, we can provide additional mesh sizes and special materials such as porous membranes, PTFE, Hastelloy, Alloy 20, Monel and Tantalum.

If you complete our strainer inquiry form we can advise which model is most appropriate, provided discounted pricing and lead time. please send mail to us info@pipelineproductsonline.com
