The TOPLINE model bag filter housing is the highest performance design we offer. Especially if your application requires ≤25 micron nominal retention or an absolute (99%) efficient rated retention, the TOPLINE bag filter is the best choice. Offered in both carbon steel and 316 stainless steel, TOPLINE bag filters have 2″ 150# ANSI flanged connections and are rated for a maximum pressure of 150 PSI at 400F. There is also a variation referred to as the “Santary TOPLINE” having all tri-clover connections with a interior surface polished to 0.8 Ra micrometers (32Ra microinch) and an electo polished external finish. TOPLINE bag filter housing are custom fabricted and can be provided with an ASME UM code stamp (not applicable to the sanitary model).

The primary difference between the TOPLINE bag filter housing and the other models we offer is the “over-the-top” or “goose neck” inlet configuration. This feature allows for the chamber cover to directly compress the filter bag seal, thereby forming the best seal possible. When combined with the SENTINEL filter bag style sealing ring, the TOPLINE will provide “bypass-free” performance. The Sentinel style sealing ring can also be referred to as crushed sealing ring, as the compression of the ring forces the angled portion of the ring to “crush into” the machined sealing groove. This “crush seal” is superior to a SNAP-RING filter bag seal or flanged ring relying on a gasket or o-ring for a good seal. All of the absolute rated filter bags utilize the SENTINEL style bag seal and it is really essential for any filtration requirement ≤25 microns.
