Titan Flow Controls Model YS 68-CS y strainer is a Carbon Steel strainer that ranges in size from 2 inch – 8 inches. The strainer body is manufactured from carbon steel. The YS68-CS provides great open area ratios when it comes to it’s straining capacity, providing large straining capacities of 2.5 times the pipe width. The Titan YS68-CS is typically installed in piping systems to remove debris downstream from pumps, meters, compressors, nozzles, turbines, etc. They can run horizontal or vertical in nature as long at the screen is in a downward manner from the flow.
