Description

Wye strainers for aggressive chemicals

Fluidtrol Y strainers are made of PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, PVDF and FRP. Fluidtrol also offers some PVC/FPR combinations for higher pressures and temperatures. Fluidtrol Y strainers are designed for horizontal and vertical down-flow piping of water or aggressive fluids where a non-alloy design is advantageous.

Whereas our Hayward products are molded Y strainers for pipeline sizes up to 4″, Fluidtrol Y strainers span a range of 3″ to 24″ and are custom fabricated to your requirements. The screen chamber for Fluidtrol Y strainers can be bolted as illustrated above or have a T-handle design which does not require tools to access the screen.
