Description

The GX simplex basket strainer is available for pipelines as large as 24″ and has a PVC core with FRP cover for increased strength and corrosion resistance. This design combines the corrosion resistance of PVC with the mechanical strength of FRP. The strainer baskets are made of stainless steel, special alloy or thermoplastic and designed to hold up to 50 lbs of debris. Access to the strainer basket chamber is via the stainless steel T bolts and thus does not require tools.

GX simplex basket strainers have an open area ratio of at least 4:1. Gasket grooves on the strainer body help keep the EPDM or Silicone lid gasket positioned correctly. The angled basket design self-centers and is easily removed via its handle. Integral vent and drain plugs enable draining for safe basket access as well as degassing during pipeline filling.
