MAXILINE BAG FILTER HOUSINGS Multiple bag filter housings for high flow rate microfiltration
MAXILINE bag filter housings contain 3 to 24 #2 size filter bags in support of high flow rates and very viscous fluids. There are four variations of MAXILINE bag filter vessels, in ascending order of cost/features: HD, HE, VMBF and VMDE. All MAXILINE bag filter vessels share the same low profile characteristic to improve the ergonomics related to removing filled #2 size filter bags. The primary difference of the four variations offered relate to their closure style.
Eaton MAXILINE HD Filter Housing is the base-line multiple chamber bag filter housing in the MAXILINE series as it can have from 3 to 24 filter bag chambers and is available in both carbon steel and 304SS materials. The swing bolt closure is moved aside with the provided lifting davit assembly, thus you need to have sufficient area to one side of the vessel to swing the cover out of the way. The MAXILINE HD is hte only multiple chamber bag filter we offer having over 12 filter chambers; its maximum is 24 chambers.
The Eaton MAXILINE HE Filter Housing design has a swing bolt closure and a spring assisted hinge, making it very easy for personnel to open the housing and safely remove to install filter bags. There are two versions of the MAXILINE the “S” (standard) and the “T” (tangential) and these are references to where the outline nozzle is attached to the body. While all MAXILINE HE bag filter vessels keep the tube sheet within 34 to 38″ from the floor to enable personnel to remove filter bags while standing on the ground (no requirement for external scaffolding), the T version places the outlet nozzle as close to the floor as possible and enables both a side and “loop” (same side) outlet nozzle position whereas the “S” style is only available with the side outlet nozzle orientation. MAXILINE HE bag filters have 3 to 8 filter bag chambers and are offered in carbon steel, 304SS and 316SS as standard.
The MAXILINE VMBF differs from the other HE variations due to its special quick opening cover (QIC-LOCK™). With one movement you both unlock and vent the vessel and then using a hand wheel the cover is disconnected from the body, easily pushed out of the way with the spring assisted hinge. The MAXILINE is chosen when you require an ASME code stamped vessel and quick, toolless filter bag access.
