DUOLINE BAG FILTER HOUSINGS Dual chamber bag filter housings
The Eaton DOULINE bag filter housing is designed for higher flow rate applications and applications involving viscous fluids benefitting for the increased surface area available from using two filter bags. DUOLINE bag filter housings consist of two #2 size bag filters sharing a common inlet and outlet manifold. While a standard pipe tees can be used for the inlet and outlet connections, special 90 degree elbows with flanged connections enable alignment of the upper and lower connections. The upper port is the inlet connection and it can be rotated in 90 degree increments to simplify connection with your piping. DOULINE bag filters are not duplexed in the sense that one side can be serviced while the other continues filtering unless you request a design including isolation valves as shown our DOULINE duplexed bag filters page. This simplex version illustrated to the left has no valves and is essentially the smallest multiple bag filter housing design offered with the other designs having 3 to 24 filter bag chambers (MODULINE, PROLINE and MAXILINE).
The maximum flow rate for a DOULINE simplex bag filter housing is theoretically 350 GPM assuming the filtered liquid has a water-like viscosity and the filter bag is a nominally rated design. Absolute rated and other high efficiency style filter bags will effectively reduce the maximum flow rate.
