We offer both Eaton and Keckley brand cast bronze duplex strainers; Titan doesn’t offer duplex strainers in this material yet. Both Eaton and Keckley offer a ball valve style diverter for the ¾” through 4″ sizes. The key difference between brands is the sealing seat, Eaton’s has an elastomeric (Buna or Viton) seat to provide a tight seal whereas Keckley has a metal-to-metal seat, so some increased leakage into the isolated chamber is expected.
The ball valve style diverter is easy to use, personnel rotate the diversion lever 180º to isolate a basket chamber.
The 5″ – 8″ sizes are only available through Eaton and they have a tapered plug valve style diverter which requires an extra step, lifting the valve off its seat with a jack screw before the flow can be diverted. The tapered plug valve style diverter has a metal-to-metal seal, which might be better suited for aggressive fluids.

All of these cast bronze strainers are rated for 225 PSIG @ 150ºF and the flanged versions have class 150# FF connections. For higher pressure applications you would use higher pressure rated simplex strainers and uses stainless steel diverting valves to duplex them together.
