Forged steel ball valves are suitable for small diameter pipelines of Class 150 to 2500 LB, working temperature -29 to 425 °C (carbon steel) or -29 to 500 °C (stainless steel) to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. Forged steel gate valves are commonly used in oil pipelines.
